Formula 1 returns to action this weekend with the Chinese Grand Prix – and here’s all the information you need to follow the action live from Shanghai.

The Sprint format returns at the second round of the 2025 F1 season, with McLaren’s Lando Norris looking to extend his early lead in the Drivers’ Championship standings. After a costly late-race spin, Oscar Piastri will also be keen to make up ground on his team mate.

Max Verstappen proved he is not to be discounted in the battle with a fine drive in Australia, despite his Red Bull looking slightly off the pace of the McLaren, while Mercedes will hope to build on a strong opening weekend that saw both George Russell and Kimi Antonelli finish inside the top-four positions.

This will be another test for the rookie drivers, with Red Bull’s Liam Lawson, Alpine’s Jack Doohan, Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar and Kick Sauber’s Gabriel Bortoleto all having a point to prove after failing to finish in Australia.
