Further buildings are on the way, which will include a new wind tunnel as well as additional staff facilities and a new simulator ahead of the introduction of the next generation of technical regulations in the sport in the 2026 season.
“It’s a really exciting time at the moment with the new campus,” McCullough explained during the British Grand Prix weekend. “Building One we obviously moved into a year ago, Buildings Two and Three which [are on the way]…
“The wind tunnel is all coming online and the new simulator, [there is] just space for everybody to have their own environment. It’s a fantastic place, I still smile every day when I walk in there.
“But yeah, we’re heavily involved with the gearbox, the hydraulics, everything that we need to be involved with for 2026.”
The 2026 campaign will see Honda partner with Aston Martin and, while there are still one and a half seasons remaining until then, McCullough says that the Japanese manufacturer is already becoming a part of the team.
“[There have been] a lot of meetings with Honda, as you can imagine, in preparation for ’26, both face-to-face and also online,” he added. “Their presence is very much within our team now, and yeah, just a huge amount of work that we’re going through, a lot of change.
