Mariah Carey to headline in Baku on Sunday
Mariah Carey will help close out this year's 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix by performing on the main stage on Sunday evening.
Carey, one of the best-selling female artist of all-time, will showcase her biggest-career defining hits shortly after the chequered flag flies in Baku. All ticket holders will have free access to the concert.
Carey completes a stellar musical line-up for the weekend, with The Black Eyed Peas and Nicole Scherzinger set to perform back-to-back concerts on Saturday.
"We are incredibly proud to welcome the most successful female music star in history to Baku to close out our second successive Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend," said Arif Rahimov, executive director of the Baku City Circuit.
"Mariah Carey is the iconic voice of a generation whose songs are known intimately by millions of people across the world.
"To hear her perform her incredible range of hits here in Baku will be a true privilege and the perfect finale to what is shaping up to be the biggest and best F1 race weekend of the season. We are ready to celebrate with the whole world and are inviting you to come join us this summer in Baku!"
Carey's concert in Baku follows a sell-out residency in Las Vegas. She is one of the most decorated stars in music, having won five Grammy Awards, 19 World Music Awards, 14 Billboard Music Awards and 11 American Music Awards. She has sold over 220 million records worldwide.
