McLaren unveil striking new livery
McLaren have revealed a revised livery that they will use from this weekend's Grand Prix in Spain.
The team have opted to move away from the chrome elements of their original 2015 colour scheme in favour of a darker 'graphite-grey' colouration, with more emphasis on the McLaren 'dayglo' keylines.
The team said in a statement that the changes would reduce reflection issues caused by the chrome treatment and optimise the car's appearance both in bright sunshine and under the floodlights.
McLaren have used silver-based liveries since 1997, when it switched away from the red and white designs that had been used for the previous two decades.
