MONDAY MORNING DEBRIEF: From a ‘dominant’ car to a ‘monster’ – What has happened to Red Bull?
Max Verstappen finished sixth in the Italian Grand Prix, his Red Bull 37 seconds behind Charles Leclerc’s winning Ferrari. Team mate Sergio Perez was another two places and 13s behind.
It was a disastrously uncompetitive race for a car which dominated the early part of the season. Verstappen’s race was further compromised by an engine issue which prevented him running full power and a slow pit stop for a sticking wheel.
