Carlos Sainz made it to just Lap 9 of 51 at the 2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix before pulling up with an issue at Turn 4 – with team mate Charles Leclerc then compounding Ferrari’s woe, as he was forced to retire with his own problem.
Sainz had been running P4 when he pulled up with what he felt was a brake-by-wire issue, before trudging disconsolately back to the pits.
