Lewis Hamilton stormed to a superb victory from sixth on the grid in the Turkish Grand Prix to seal his seventh world championship title, and was overcome with emotion after he crossed the line to take the win.
The Mercedes man had struggled for grip and pace all weekend, but drove a brilliantly-managed race in changeable conditions and on a very slippery Istanbul track to climb through the order as drivers up and down the field were suffering slips and spins throughout the Grand Prix.

And the moment he took the chequered flag, he knew he had equalled the great Michael Schumacher's record of seven drivers' championships - in the same season he matched and then beat the German's record of 91 F1 wins.
He was initially speechless after he finished the race, but eventually did manage to send out a message to all his fans.
"Thank you so much guys," he said. "That’s for all the kids out there who dream the impossible. You can do it too man! I believe in you guys! Thank you so much everyone for your support."
