1. Norris vs Verstappen
The competitive picture had looked extremely close throughout practice but Max Verstappen then rose to the top during qualifying and appeared to have a slight advantage over the rest of the field. His final Q3 lap put him over 0.3s clear, but then came a stunning finale from Lando Norris who took the second pole position of his career.
