Norris vying for victory and two drivers fighting back after penalties – What To Watch For in the Dutch Grand Prix
From the top two in the championship making up the front row to threats directly behind; and from two frontrunners starting outside the top-10 to an invisible challenge from the conditions, here are a few areas to keep an eye on during Sunday’s race at Zandvoort.
1. Norris looking to convert from pole position
Lando Norris has started in the pole position spot on the grid on five occasions in his Formula 1 career so far (three for a Grand Prix and twice for a Sprint), and has yet to lead at the end of any of the opening laps. It’s a run that started when he actually made a great start in Sochi in 2021 but was slipstreamed on the long drag to the first braking zone, and this year he dropped to third in both Barcelona and Budapest.
