Qualification now open for 2018 F1 Esports Series

F1 Esports Series is back for its second season. Sure, the cars are virtual. But the racing? It doesn’t get more real.

The nerve to brake later, the pain of locking up, the millisecond that separates victory from defeat. The millions of people watching, over 100,000 rivals, the 40 top qualifiers, the one winner… It’s the real deal. Can you handle it?

You don’t need to be a pro gamer to be a pro driver. All you need is a copy of F1™ 2017. Once you’ve registered online and linked your account to Xbox Live, PlayStation Network or Steam, you’re ready to qualify.

But just being fast doesn’t mean you’ll make the cut. You need to show us your grit. We’re looking for racing skill, overtaking prowess, the guts to do what others can’t.

The top 40 qualifiers will then compete to enter the Pro Draft, and be in with a chance to become Esports drivers for the official F1® teams. For real.

That’s right, Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport, Red Bull Racing, Force India F1 Team, Williams, Renault Sport F1 Team, Haas F1 Team, McLaren, Toro Rosso and Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team will all be offering positions in their Esports driver line ups as part of the series.

Nothing gets you closer to the reality of F1 racing - that’s why pro drivers use it for training. So, do you have what it takes to win the World Championship?
