RACE PREDICTOR: Vote for who you think will finish on the podium for the Chinese Grand Prix
After claiming victory in the earlier Sprint, Max Verstappen continued to impress as he sealed his fifth pole position of the season for the Chinese Grand Prix.
With team mate Sergio Perez following up in P2, to lock out the front row for Sunday's race, it puts Red Bull in a strong position to succeed once again in 2024.

But anything can still happen on race day and the likes of Fernando Alonso, who sealed a superb P3 start on the grid, will want to claim his first podium of the season – something that would be an ideal way to mark his new Aston Martin deal.
There's also the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in contention for a podium spot, while the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz – who have so often been the best of the rest in 2024 – will also fancy their chances.
