Raikkonen 'confident' of breaking points duck at Silverstone double header
Kimi Raikkonen is one of just four drivers yet to score a point in the 2020 Formula 1 season, but the Finn says he is confident of getting off the mark at the double-header being held at Silverstone over the next two weeks.
Raikkonen – who qualified last on the grid for the Hungarian Grand Prix two weeks ago – has a best finish of 11th this year at the Styrian Grand Prix, after coming home 15th at the Hungaroring, and retiring from the season-opening Austrian race.

But the Alfa Romeo driver is looking forward to troubling the scorers this weekend at Silverstone.
“The first few races haven’t been ideal in terms of results but the important thing is that we are moving in the right direction,” he said.

“We have identified the areas where we need to improve and hopefully we will get to Silverstone with the solutions needed to give us some extra competitivity.
“We have seen we can fight against most midfield cars on Sunday and we are confident we can come home with points from either of these two races,” he added.

Raikkonen's Alfa Romeo team mate Antonio Giovinazzi started the year off with a points finish in Austria, but has failed to add to his tally since then – and is targeting an improvement in qualifying to reverse that trend.
“On Sunday we are very competitive, we have shown that in each of the races so far, and if we put together a good qualifying we can be fighting for the top ten from lap one, so this has to be our objective going forward,” he said.
"We have seen in Austria that racing twice in the same venue gives some unique opportunities and we will be aiming to make the most of these two races.”
