The British Grand Prix hosted one of the most memorable weekends of action this season, as not only did Carlos Sainz open his account, but we were treated to a brilliant wet-weather qualifying and a mesmerising battle for the podium places. And with so much action unfolding, it was no wonder that the airwaves were lit up.
Qualifying served up a treat, as Nicholas Latifi made it into Q3 for the first time in his Formula 1 career, much to the delight of his Williams team. Meanwhile, a surprised Sainz was more than happy to hear that he had qualified on pole position for the first time in his career.
The radio chatter was intense at the beginning of the race, drivers concerned about the well-being of Zhou Guanyu after a high-speed Lap 1 crash. Later on, we heard a worried Max Verstappen question the performance of his car as he began to slow.
