Toro Rosso revealed their 2016 race livery on Tuesday morning at the start of this week's final pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The Italian team, who have switched from Renault to 2015-spec Ferrari power for this season, debuted their new STR11 car at last week's opening test, but with Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz running it in a plain blue colour scheme.

“We are proud of this car and what it represents in terms of the work that went into designing and building it in record time in our new facility in Faenza," commented team principal Franz Tost. "And I am particularly pleased that 2016 sees a return to Ferrari power, with everyone looking forward to working once again with our friends from Maranello."

Verstappen, rookie of the year in 2015, is first to sample the car on Tuesday and will also be driving on Thursday. Team mate Sainz, meanwhile, will be in the cockpit on Wednesday and Friday.

"In Formula One, the stars are the drivers and I am keen to see what our two very talented youngsters, Max and Carlos can achieve this year, as they are now in their second season,” added Tost, who steered the team to seventh in last year's constructors' standings.

This week's test session runs from Tuesday to Friday, with all 11 teams in attendance, and sees Sauber give their new C35 car its first track outing, the Swiss squad having opted to run a modified version of their 2015 machine in test one.
