On the 2024 Formula 1 weekend, the approach roads to the Red Bull Ring along with most of the main transport routes in Austria are fully open. Due to the expected heavy traffic and with some road works, we recommend the following routes, depending on your departure point:

Vienna / East Austria: S6 –St. Michael junction – S36

Graz / South Styria: A2 – Bad St. Leonhard – B78 Obdach – Weißkirchen in der Steiermark or A9 – Gleinalmtunnel* – St. Michael junction – S36 (Construction site, please expect delays!)

Salzburg: A10 – B96 – St. Michael im Lungau – Tamsweg – Murau – Judenburg

Upper Austria: A9 – Bosrucktunnel* – Trieben – B114 – Triebener Tauern – Pöls – via Judenburg or A9 – Bosrucktunnel* – St. Michael junction – S36 (​Construction site, please expect delays!)

Carinthia: B317 – Neumarkter Sattel – Judenburg – S36 or B78 – Weißkirchen in der Steiermark (then follow local signs)

Schladming / Selzthal region: B320 – Liezen – B113 – Trieben (not the A9) – B114 – Triebener Tauern – Pöls – via Judenburg to the Red Bull Ring (follow local signs) *ATTENTION: Toll tunnel – you can book your digital toll in advance.

Depending on your arrival route, you will be directed to the nearest parking area. Please memorise the number of your parking area indicated at the entrance to the respective area.
