When people talk of the Monaco Grand Prix, the two drivers whose names stand out the most are Ayrton Senna and Graham Hill. With six and five victories respectively, that’s hardly surprising.

But so often reliability played a key role in defining the great race’s victors, and with some more reliable machinery Sir Jackie Stewart, who is celebrated in the Principality this year, would certainly have been up there with them.
