Over the course of the season opening weekend, Ewan, 13, who has a genetic condition that left him with brain and organ damage, and Charlie, 14, who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and other health complications, were virtually transported from the UK to Sakhir for some very special conversations.
While the Awabot travelled up and down the paddock, Ewan and Charlie were introduced to Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, Alpine pair Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, and Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.
