From a traffic jam forming behind Nigel Mansell in Austria back in 1987 to the frenetic late-race restart at the 2023 Australian Grand Prix, there have been numerous dramatic scenes over the years.

The weather has also sparked many a memorable restart, with legendary commentator Murray Walker particularly taken aback by the pile-up of cars on a damp track at Spa-Francorchamps in 1998.
