WATCH: Heavy crash for Zhou brings out red flags during FP3 in Saudi Arabia

The third and final practice session ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was brought to a sudden halt after Zhou Guanyu suffered a heavy crash.

The Kick Sauber driver was on a flying lap when he lost the rear of the car and hit the barriers at high speed. Fortunately Zhou reported over team radio that he was okay, and he was able to walk away unaided from his seemingly heavily-damaged C44.

As the marshals set to moving the car from the track, the red flags were thrown as the clock ticked down on the final minutes of FP3.
