Sebastian Vettel drove to a fine second place in the Hungarian Grand Prix – before he was disqualified for a fuel sample irregularity after the race.

The German stopped his Aston Martin AMR21 out on track at the Hungaroring, but following the race, the FIA were unable to extract the required 1 litre of fuel from the car.

Aston Martin announced their intention to appeal, but decided not to pursue that when the stewards rejected their request for a review of the decision.
