It was a clearly emotional Sergio Perez who greeted his public the last time Formula 1 raced in Mexico in 2019, with the home driver presented to the fans in the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez’s magnificent Foro Sol stadium section – a moment Perez said he would treasure forever.
And he will be back in action at home for Red Bull at the 2021 Mexico City Grand Prix this weekend.
