Charles Leclerc set the fastest time on the opening day of running in Budapest, as the Ferrari driver topped the timesheets in the second practice session with preparations ramping up ahead of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.
On his qualifying simulation run in FP2, Leclerc set a rapid time of 1.17.686s to lead Lando Norris by just 0.015s. Pierre Gasly rounded out the top three, although his time was just over two-tenths off the pace of Leclerc.
