Friday yielded the final FP1 and FP2 sessions of the 2023 season as drivers began their preparations for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc setting the pace.
In a disrupted second practice hour, which saw Leclerc’s team mate Carlos Sainz and Haas racer Nico Hulkenberg crash out, the Monegasque worked his way down to a benchmark time of 1m 24.809s on soft tyres.
