George Russell produced an outstanding performance when it mattered during qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, storming to pole position for the first time since Silverstone back in July.
After setting the pace in FP3, the Mercedes driver was dominant throughout most of qualifying, continuously improving his laps as the low-grip track surface evolved across the tense session.
