WEEKEND WARM-UP: Can Sergio Perez get a dream home victory as F1 prepares to go racing in Mexico?
Share
Just days after racing in Austin, Formula 1 heads to Mexico City with plenty of talking points for our Weekend Warm-Up crew to discuss.
Max Verstappen claimed his 15th win of the season last time out in the United States Grand Prix, with Lewis Hamilton not far behind in second. However, it was announced after the race that both Hamilton and Charles Leclerc had been disqualified due to their cars not being in compliance with the rules.
So, can Red Bull continue their winning streak at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, and will Sergio Perez be able to put on a show in front of his home fans?
Despite losing Hamilton’s podium result, Mercedes were able to take solace from the pace of the W14 in Austin amid the squad’s continued battle with Ferrari for P2 in the constructors’ championship. How will both teams fare this weekend?
As well as that, the crew look at how McLaren and Aston Martin could fare this weekend, as they also assess the lay of the land at Haas, who will continue to test their new upgrades on what will be Nico Hulkenberg's 200th Grand Prix.
For further insight into this and much more, click on the video player above to watch Will Buxton, Alex Jacques, and James Hinchcliffe in the latest instalment of Weekend Warm-up.
