It's been the talk of the paddock at pre-season testing in Barcelona: Mercedes' innovative new steering system that was spotted from an onboard shot of Lewis Hamilton taking the new W11 around the track on Thursday morning.
But what is it? How does it work? And how would it make the car go faster? Ex-Renault F1 driver Jolyon Palmer explains what the Silver Arrows might be up to with the new system in the video above.
