What time is the 2022 United States Grand Prix and how can I watch it?
Formula 1 heads to the United States this weekend as Red Bull look to follow up on Max Verstappen’s second successive drivers’ title by securing the constructors’ crown at the Circuit of The Americas.
Recent history is on their side, with Verstappen beating Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton to victory in Austin 12 months ago – the pair scrapping from lights out to the chequered flag.
On Friday, the action will get under way with FP1 and FP2 – second practice being extended from 60 to 90 minutes to allow for some extra testing of Pirelli’s 2023 tyre compounds. Saturday will feature FP3 and qualifying, before the 56-lap Grand Prix itself on Sunday.
