Bahrain's technical 5.4km track held it’s first F1 event – and the first Formula 1 event in the Middle East – in 2004. Michael Schumacher was victorious that day, leading home Ferrari team mate Rubens Barrichello.
Fans can expect great racing and decent amounts of overtaking in Bahrain, while the drivers have to contend with varying winds, racing under floodlights, and the difficulty of finding a decent set-up with the wide temperature fluctuations between sessions.
