WATCH: Lizard spotted on track in Singapore as FP3 is red flagged

The third and final practice session in Singapore came to a temporary halt early on after a lizard made its way onto the track.
It was a quiet start to proceedings at the Marina Bay Street Circuit when the green light switched on for the start of FP3, with the Aston Martin duo of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll initially having the circuit to themselves.

But that didn't last long, as a lizard joined the party after being spotted out on the circuit.
Unhelpfully, the reptile had decided the middle of the track, near the pit entry, was the best place to hang out on a Saturday evening with Alonso pulling into the pits to avoid the animal.
As a result, the session was subsequently red flagged as marshals tried to get the reptile to safety. Click play on the video above to watch the lizard, and Daniel Ricciardo's reaction...
