Play online or in the official F1 app, create your team, set up your leagues – and most importantly, get your friends involved and have fun. Here's what you need to know before a record-breaking season begins...
Key dates
The 2024 edition of F1 Fantasy is available to play now, so you can create your teams and private leagues ahead of the season-opening race in Bahrain on March 2. It’s free to play, and you can make as many changes to your teams as you want before Qualifying for the first race.
Fortunately, if you’re finding it difficult to choose who makes your team, all players can do some early scouting ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix as the same Sakhir venue hosts pre-season testing between February 21-23. Be sure to pay attention to which teams and drivers are looking good so you can make a fast start to the year.

How do I play F1 Fantasy?
First, head over to F1 Fantasy – either online at F1.com or in the dedicated section on the official F1 app. With $100M in your pocket, assemble your dream team of five drivers and two constructors.
You can create up to three teams (though only your first team will be eligible to win prizes in the Global League), and you have two free transfers ahead of every race for each team that you manage once the season begins. If you make more than the two transfers, each additional transfer will incur a 10-point penalty for your team, while a maximum of one unused free transfer will carry over to the next race.
Pick one driver in your team to receive the DRS Boost, which will double their score for that Grand Prix and, just like a real F1 team might bring car upgrades to an event, decide if you want play one of your chips to add something more. These chips are limited and can only be used once during the whole season. Think carefully before you use them! For more information about the different chips available and how they work please visit the F1 Fantasy FAQs page.
Points will be awarded/deducted based on the Driver/Constructor’s performance at the Grand Prix. Rev up the excitement and score additional points for the Fastest Lap, Fastest Pit Stop and more. If you’ve played F1 Fantasy before, there are some minor changes to scoring in 2024. Head over to the F1 Fantasy Game Rules page for a detailed points breakdown.
