A special car will be on show when the Formula 1 Exhibition opens in Madrid later this month, with Pierre Gasly’s 2020 Italian Grand Prix-winning AlphaTauri included as an exclusive display.
Following a collaboration between Gasly, his management team, AlphaTauri and the show’s producers, fans will be able to get up close and personal with the so-called ‘Monza Miracle’ car and admire the design in all its glory.

Gasly and AlphaTauri shocked the F1 paddock with their breakthrough victory at the Temple of Speed, making the most of a Safety Car and red flag period to rise from P10 to the lead, before fending off then McLaren rival Carlos Sainz and the Racing Point of Lance Stroll.
It marked Gasly’s first F1 victory, the team’s first since their rebranding from Toro Rosso to AlphaTauri, and the first for a Frenchman in the sport since Olivier Panis’ similarly spectacular win at the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix.
“There is nothing better than being called a Formula 1 race winner. I would say in my life, this is probably what has sounded the best out of everything. It was an incredible moment,” said Gasly in an interview with the Formula 1 Exhibition team.

“During the race, once I saw how things were shaping up, I knew 'okay, this is my moment. This is my time to shine.' There’s no way I’m letting that opportunity slip away from my hands.
“I think we had 25 laps in the lead. They were long, but I must say I enjoyed every single lap. Being in control of that race was the best feeling I have experienced in Formula 1.”
Gasly’s race-winning machine – powered by Honda and formally known as the AT01 – will be displayed in the exhibition’s ‘Design Lab’ room when doors open on March 24.
Hosted at the renowned IFEMA MADRID, the exhibition has been officially developed in association with F1 and promises an immersive show featuring a wide range of artefacts and contributions from the sport’s most legendary teams, experts and personalities.
Tickets can be purchased from the F1 Exhibition website today.
