Grill the Grid is back – and this time the drivers are being tested on their geography. Can they name a circuit for every letter of the alphabet?
The youngsters can be forgiven – or at least cut some slack – for forgetting some tracks that graced the F1 calendar before they were born, but quite how the majority managed to forget circuits that they have raced at already this year is a mystery…
Carlos Sainz used phonetics to try and sound out the answers, Sergio Perez decided there should be an ‘International Grand Prix’ for the letter ‘I’ – having forgotten Interlagos, Istanbul and Imola – while Yuki Tsunoda decided to name actors rather than circuits.

As for Daniel Ricciardo, he channeled everyone who has ever taken an exam when he exclaimed: “Why can’t I think?!”
