Hamilton unveils new helmet by artist Mad Dog Jones, as Leclerc’s design marks Ferrari milestone

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc revealed bold new helmet designs for the British Grand Prix after McLaren's Lando Norris and Williams' George Russell showed theirs off on Thursday ahead of the Silverstone race weekend.

Mercedes' reigning champion Hamilton collaborated with Canadian artist Mad Dog Jones, who created an incredible, colourful design featuring Maya Angelou's 'Still We Rise' quote on the rear.

Other details close to Hamilton's heart include a recycling sign, a Black Lives Matter logo and every Silverstone corner labelled around the bottom of the helmet.

As for Ferrari's Leclerc, he will drive the 375 F1 car around Silverstone this weekend to mark Jose Froilan Gonzalez's triumph on July 14, 1951, which was the first-ever Grand Prix win for the Scuderia.

Leclerc's helmet features a massive motif on the dome to pay tribute to the Argentinian's achievement, in classic Ferrari colours.
