After the first day of practice at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix, it was Lewis Hamilton who set the pace to kick off the 2024 F1 season.
While Daniel Ricciardo topped the timesheets in Free Practice 1, Hamilton led the way from Mercedes team mate George Russell in the second practice hour of the day.

The seven-time world champion posted a lap of 1m 30.374s on the soft tyres, putting him 0.206s clear of Russell, while Max Verstappen was nearly half a second back in sixth place.
