Alpine reveal striking blue, white and red livery at 2021 F1 season launch
Alpine have revealed a striking blue, white and red livery for their foray into the world of Formula 1 during an innovative online launch for the A521.
Renault opted to rebrand their F1 outfit to the Alpine division for this season and thus overhauled their livery, swapping black and yellow for the colours synonymous with Alpine’s motorsport heritage.

The A521 will continue to be powered by a Renault engine, designed and developed in their engine base at Viry, while the chassis itself is an evolution of the R.S.20.
While there is heavy carryover of parts from last year into this campaign, as dictated by the rules, the team say they have developed and improved “every part that has not been homologated”.

As the Enstone-based team enter a new era, they welcome back a familiar face in double world champion Fernando Alonso, with whom they won the Spaniard’s two world championships in 2005 and 2006.
Esteban Ocon enters his second year with the team, having finished last season strongly as he scored his first ever F1 podium in Bahrain.
The team’s management has been shaken up, too, with boss Cyril Abiteboul leaving the team and Laurent Rossi being appointed Chief Executive Officer.
Marcin Budkowski remains part of the leadership team as Executive Director, with Racing Director Davide Brivio completing the trio having joined from the Suzuki MotoGP team.
Pat Fry will have one season under his belt back with his old team (he started his F1 career with the team when it was known as Benetton) and leads the chassis technical team, with Remi Taffin retaining his role in charge of the engine department.
Ocon will give the new A521 its track debut with a shakedown run at Silverstone on Wednesday.
Renault finished fifth in the constructors’ championship, losing out to McLaren and Racing Point in the fight for third. They will expect better this year as Alpine.
