Leclerc is the slight favourite for pole as he looks to seal his seventh P1 start of the season, although Verstappen is right behind him having taken pole in two of the last three Grands Prix, including last time out in Austria. The Red Bull driver did also take pole position for the race last year, ahead of Hamilton.

The odds for a podium finish

Verstappen and Leclerc again lead the way as the two favourites to finish on the podium. Leclerc has finished in the top three at the French Grand Prix once before in 2019, while Verstappen was on the top step last year. Hamilton is again the third favourite having never finished below second at Paul Ricard.

Sergio Perez has finished on the podium five times this season and is tied with Hamilton in the odds, ahead of Sainz and George Russell. Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris may be ones to watch this weekend, with Alonso long overdue a top-three result this season.

With both championship battles looking like they could be close come the end of the season, both Red Bull and Ferrari will want to take the valuable point for fastest lap, with Verstappen the slight favourite, ahead of Leclerc and Perez, to grab the bonus point.

Red Bull are slightly ahead of Ferrari as the favourites to take the most points in France, but they have not achieved a one-two since the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, four races ago.
