DRIVER MARKET: He’s a Finn who knows how to win – but where will Bottas be driving next season?
There are 13 seats currently available on the 2025 Formula 1 grid and of the available drivers, Valtteri Bottas is among the most experienced and decorated. So, with the Finn’s three-year deal at Kick Sauber expiring at the end of the season, what lies ahead?
It’s been a difficult start to the season for Bottas who, like his Kick Sauber team mate Zhou Guanyu, has yet to score. It comes off the back of a challenging 2023, when the Finn racked up 10 points across four Grands Prix, in a car that lost performance as the season went on, with the team ultimately finishing a disappointing ninth in the constructors’ battle.
