It was 20 years ago that Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso made their F1 debuts – as did Enrique Bernoldi and Juan Pablo Montoya – and for our latest quiz we give you the tough task of naming the full grid for that race – the 2001 Australian Grand Prix.
Two decades after the 2001 season-opener at Melbourne, Alonso has won two championships and Raikkonen one, and both have created countless headlines and memories along the way. But both – have each stepped away and then returned to the sport – are still on the grid this year, with Alpine and Alfa Romeo, respectively. But who were they racing against the very first time they started a Grand Prix?
QUIZ: We give you the year and the driver – can you remember their team mate?
There are 22 questions ahead in this testing quiz, asking you to name everyone who started that race in 2001 from the pole sitter to the backmarkers, with a couple of hints along the way.
