It was another busy weekend of F1 action in Monaco, with a thrilling qualifying session followed up by a dramatic, rain-hit Grand Prix. Amidst it all, there were plenty of radio messages that lit up the airwaves, spanning elation to frustration...
As usual on the tight and twisty streets of Monte Carlo, traffic caused a few headaches during practice and qualifying, leaving Fernando Alonso to sarcastically describe Sergio Perez’s Friday car positioning as “incredible”.

Perez was also one of several drivers, along with the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon, who crashed as the race weekend developed, leading to some apologetic and rather rueful messages.
Qualifying brought another “very lovely” lap from Max Verstappen, with second-placed Alonso also enjoying his “magic” run to the front row, but there was drama for Lando Norris, who got stuck behind Charles Leclerc in the tunnel and made his feelings clear over the radio.
On race day, there had already been plenty of incidents when a rain shower added another element to the mix, with Verstappen tapping walls en route to victory and Yuki Tsunoda seeing points slip away after encountering brake issues as he swore his way to the chequered flag.
