Flexible wings have become a hot topic in the Formula 1 world ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, with plenty in the paddock talking about the phenomenon.
In a special edition of Tech Talk for F1 TV, F1 technical expert Sam Collins investigates the flexi-wing situation and how such movement can affect a car’s performance.
TECH TALK: Explaining the new 2026 F1 regulations and what they could mean for car design
It is not the first time such a situation has arisen, following on from similar chatter up and down the pit lane during the 2021 season, which featured a particularly fierce championship battle between Red Bull and Mercedes.
