Ecurie W’s Emma Kimilainen took a second career W Series victory having stormed from fourth to first in wet conditions at Spa to beat pole-sitter Jamie Chadwick, with Marta Garcia completing the podium.
Chadwick (Veloce Racing) took pole in a Friday qualifying session marred by a six-car accident that saw Ayla Agren and Beitske Visser taken to hospital. Though both were discharged, neither competed in Saturday’s race.

The race, delayed by an hour because of an interrupted F1 qualifying session, began with four laps behind the Safety Car before Chadwick led away, followed by rival Alice Powell (Racing X), Puma driver Caitlin Wood and fourth-place qualifier Kimilainen.
The Finn immediately picked off Wood for third place before moving on a struggling Powell for P2 halfway through the race, making the race-winning move with a pass on Chadwick into Fagnes. Over the next four laps, Kimilainen built up an eight-second lead to win.

Marta Garcia passed Powell (P4) a lap later for a first podium since 2019, while Wood rounded out the top five.
Chadwick leads the standings over Powell and Kimilainen after the Belgian round, with Zandvoort to follow on September 03-04.
