Frontier Developments have revealed the F1 Manager 2024 gameplay trailer, while announcing that the third instalment of the officially licensed Formula 1 management game will launch digitally on July 23 across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The game includes a whole host of exciting features, and players who pre-order ahead of launch will get an exclusive preset livery replicating the F1 2024 Show Car in ‘Create A Team’ mode. Players who pre-order F1 Manager 2024: Deluxe Edition will get five more ‘Create A Team’ livery options, and an additional five fictional ‘Race Replay’ scenarios.

F1 Manager 2024 sees players return to the role of an F1 team principal, taking the hotseat at their chosen Formula 1 outfit in ‘Career’ mode, designing their very own squad from scratch in the brand new ‘Create A Team’ mode, or rewriting the 2024 season with the returning ‘Race Replay’ feature.

The latest outing in the franchise is the most feature-rich experience to-date, and for the first time, fans can live out the ultimate fantasy of bringing their own team to life, using customisable livery and logo creation tools to build the team’s unique branding, while ‘Team Origins’ provides total customisation of the squad’s starting conditions.

Enhanced visuals bring the racing action in F1 Manager 2024 to life

Whether you choose to enter as a total newcomer, or target an immediate spot amongst the title contenders with major investment and an all-star line-up, team principals must also manage a stable of sponsors to deliver both results and engagement opportunities to bolster marketability and attract future support.

With the introduction of the all-new ‘Mentality’ system, players will have a greater understanding than ever before into the personal ambitions and characters of their team. Team principals that prioritise one car’s performance risk building an inter-team rivalry, and failure to keep your stars happy will present rivals with opportunities to poach talent and disrupt your team’s trajectory towards the top.

Of course, a team principal also needs to look to the future if they're to successfully build a legacy. Secure rising stars by recruiting them to the new ‘Affiliates’ programme, allowing young drivers to continue their careers in Formula 2 and Formula 3 while receiving training and development from your F1 team.

Bring your own team to life with customisable livery and logo creation tools, then take to the track

During a race weekend it’s all about executing the perfect strategy. Instruct your drivers to extract every millisecond of performance, but as tyre wear and temperatures increase, so too does the risk of an incident. Think tactically to overcome ever-evolving challenges and capitalise on opportunities.

Enhanced visuals brings the racing action to life with greater realism, and players can watch the action unfold from a range of immersive camera angles. Feel the rush of acceleration with visor-cam, direct the race from trackside and onboard cameras, or even take to the skies with the debut of the strategic heli-cam view.
