WATCH: Zhou Guanyu's crash and heavy rain brings out the red flags at the Dutch GP

The already chaotic Dutch Grand Prix served up some more drama after Zhou Guanyu’s crash and a torrential downpour saw the first red flags of the day, bringing a halt to proceedings.
Towards the latter stages of the race, heavy rain fell at Zandvoort, forcing all the drivers to make the switch from slicks to the intermediates – with Esteban Ocon the only driver to go on the full wet tyres – as conditions worsened on the track.

But the rain continued to intensify, with many drivers – including Sergio Perez, Yuki Tsunoda, Lewis Hamilton – going through the gravel at Turn 1. But unfortunately for Zhou Guanyu, it was he that slid through the wet into the barrier at that corner.
While that happened, Perez came in again to swap the intermediates for the full wet tyres. But replays showed he hit the barrier on the entry to the pit lane and, before he came back out on track, the red flags were waved.
The drivers are now back in the pit lane with the rain still coming down, despite having reduced in intensity, as they wait for all-clear to get back to racing.
