What's the weather forecast for the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix?
For round five of the season we return to Silverstone for the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix. Will it be as sunny and hot as the British Grand Prix? Or do we have rain in store? Let's take a look at the weather forecast for this weekend's race.
After Lewis Hamilton won last weekend's British GP with only three functioning tyres and Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc took advantage of Valtteri Bottas' own tyre dramas to make the podium, we're raring to go for the second race in a row at Silverstone.

With softer tyre compounds from Pirelli, we could very well see the teams adopt a two-stop strategy that could make the race set to celebrate F1's 70th anniversary even more exciting.
After sweltering temperatures for round four last week, will we see something different this weekend? It appears that temperatures will be slightly cooler with the wind perhaps gustier, but the sun will still shine on the Northamptonshire circuit - and there's very little chance of rain. SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 - RACE WEATHER
Conditions: Light chance of drops on morning with broken clouds. Frequent Sunny spells and dry in the afternoon.
Maximum temperature expected: 27 Celsius
